We can help you with the electronic registration process.

Electronic registration is required for virtually all SBIR proposal submissions. The process is complex and time consuming.  Our job at West Rock Associates is to simplify this process and make it easy for you to manage it.  Or, if you like, we can manage it for you.  The government suggests that you allow four weeks for the registration process, so it’s important to begin early.

There are four federal websites that have to be navigated in order to register your company to submit grants electronically, SAM, SBA, eRA commons, and grants.gov, and all registrations must be completed prior to the application being submitted.

System for Award Management (SAM) (formerly CCR) – Applicants must complete and maintain an active registration, which requires renewal at least annually.

SBA Company RegistryNew requirement.  Applicants must have a DUNS number to complete this registration.

eRA Commons

– eRA Commons requires organizations to identify at least one Signing Official (SO) and at least one

Program Director/Principal Investigator (PD/PI) account in order to submit an application.

Grants.gov – Applicants must have an active DUNS number and SAM registration in order to complete the Grants.gov registration.
